PTA Reflections Award

Last week was a busy week for Davis. Thursday night he received an "Excellence in the Arts" award from the Wake County PTA. The theme for this year's Reflections program was "My Favorite Place." For those of you who know Davis you know he has had a long standing love of trains. He was able to combine his love of drawing them with his favorite place, Tweetsie Railroad. His pencil drawing was selected to represent his school at the county competition where he was awarded an Honorable Mention. We were especially touched to have his teacher, Ms. Stroud, at the awards ceremony that night.
